Welcome to Unity's Cyber Lodge

God, Family, Country, and Freemasonry
The Brothers of Unity 146 Lodge would like to welcome you to
our Masonic Cyber Lodge. We are located in the Blue Ridge mountains of
the Shenandoah
Valley in Front Royal, Virginia. Our history dates back to 1799
which encompasses the rich history of the Shenandoah Valley and Virginia.
The Brothers of Unity come from all different types of occupations,
religions, and diverse back grounds. However, we meet as Brothers not
only in Lodge but also in life. We support each other through
friendship and Brotherly love. Our Masonic family at Unity 146
includes the Front Royal #6 Chapter of the Eastern Star, Hiram #45
Royal Arch Masons, and Sojourners and Heroes. We all work together
in order to support community actives and our own charity causes.
History 1799 to 2005:
According to the records of the Grand Lodge of Virginia Front
Royal, Virginia seen it's first Masonic Charter on December 11, 1799.
The Worshipful Master. John Hickman, Senior Warden William Reynolds, and
Junior Warden Moses Payne were active until 1804 where Grand Lodge declared
Chester Lodge #61 extinct. In 1848, the number (61) was reassigned on
December 12, 1848.
However, as time passed and new interest in masonry awakened;
good and able men in the Front Royal area reestablished another Masonic
lodge called Front Royal Lodge # 102 AF&AM with Cyrus D. Baldwin as the
Worshipful Master. The lodge was chartered on December 16, 1816 with
24 members and continued until it was declared extinct by Grand Lodge in
1825.

On December 15, 1840, Front Royal Lodge #102 was re-charted
as Unity Lodge # 146 by the Grand Lodge of Virginia. The minutes from
Front Royal Lodge 102 was turned over to the Brothers of Unity Lodge.
Front Royal, Virginia has enjoyed over 200 years of established Masonic
Lodges in their area. Today, Unity 146 is growing stronger then ever,
with a 165 years of growth and more than 158 brothers we are extremely proud
of our history and lodge!
